When I became an instructor for the Prison Mission I didn’t expect the blessings that followed. As I read each lesson, sometimes with heartfelt comments or questions attached, my heart goes out to these inmates who have found peace and hope through Christ. Sometimes they don’t feel deserving. I answer that none of us are. Others want to shout for joy with their newly found faith and the new outlook on life. One thing in common is that they are all so grateful for the Prison Mission Association because they know that someone cares about them and their future. Sometimes I will request the appropriate bible be sent that they might better understand. I am blessed when I see God working in the hearts and minds of those who were once lost. Thank you for being God’s servants. – Carol H.
