Pastor Dwight will be speaking this Sunday on “Overcoming Failure in your life” from the true story of David in the Bible.
Each and everyone of us will experience failure in our lives. If you aren’t prepared for this giant of failure, it’s going to take you down, but then it’s also going to keep you down. If it keeps you down…It brings about discouragement, despair, depression, doubt, and even disillusionment. I see that over and over in churches and especially in prison. We can’t stop failure from coming, but with God’s help we can grow through the failure.
Here’s the deal. In God’s eyes, failure is not final. Failure can be a new starting point.
God’s Word gives us some real help in this area with the example of David.
