1. “Dealing with the Demons of the Past”

Philippians 3:13-14

To some, the whole purpose of life is geared toward this world. It is centered around their job, income, home, and personal status. For most of us, searching for reasons for living will initially mean dealing with the demons of the past. The apostle Paul introduced the idea of dealing with the past. “…This ONE thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ  Jesus” (Philippians 3:13-14).
